Jewish Community COVID-19 Emergency Response Fund of Greater Mercer

We are all working together to understand the immediate and short-term needs of members of our community and the wider community most impacted by the situation surrounding the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19). This may include emergency financial support for housing and utilities, medicine, food assistance/delivery, and social work/counseling services.

Meanwhile, we have created the Coronavirus Emergency Relief Fund to support areas of greatest need, including supporting our partner agencies and the programs that provide critical community services.

  • All donations will be matched Dollar-for-Dollar by Federation up to the first $50,000 raised

  • Note that 100% of your donations will be distributed directly to grant recipients.

Federation's Response to Coronavirus

We are taking every precaution to keep ourselves safe so we can continue to effectively and efficiently serve our community. To that end, our staff has begun working remotely until further notice.

We will continue our regularly scheduled meetings via video conference and on the phone with each other and with you. If you have a meeting scheduled with one of us, you will be receiving an individual invitation from us for that video chat or call. However, if you would like to reach any of us via email, please visit our staff page.

In addition, all upcoming Federation events have been cancelled or postponed. These are hard decisions, but first and foremost, we must protect the health and safety of our community members.
