Travel with our own Rabbi Schoenberg and Rabbi Felix to meet the Jews of Uganda. Hear about the history of this vibrant community – an egalitarian, Conservative congregation.

Learn about the integration of African culture with Jewish rituals ad experience the music from the Abayudaya community where Rabbi Schoenberg along with a group of 14 other rabbis, were invited to teach and officiate at three Bat Mitzvah ceremonies.

Rabbi Schoenberg and Rabbi Felix have been married for 38 years. Rabbi Felix is the spiritual leader of Temple Beth Ahm in Bayonne, NJ. She is a graduate of Yale and Hebrew Union College, where she is currently working on a doctorate in Jewish History.
